Nico Carrera just got his US citizenship. Turned 17 this month. I believe he's a CB. Is with Dallas and made his USL debut with North Texas about 2 weeks ago. He seems pretty stoked about it on Twitter.

At this point, Carleton should be hoping for Brek Shea’s career. That would at least involve occasional MLS and national team success. Carleton isn’t on track for either right now.
He’s pissed off two coaches, and has consistently showed lack of maturity and work ethic. We all did dumb stuff at that age, but it’s been a consistent problem for him. Seems more likely to me that he’ll be out of soccer in a few years than ever become an MLS starter. He hasn’t adjusted to the fact that he’s not playing against kids anymore. It’s a shame, because he looked like one of our brightest U17 prospects in 2017.
He needs to get his shite together, and fast. Atlanta would have probably moved on from him already by now if he weren’t on a Homegrown contract. With the money they spend, they’re not gonna be patient with him for much longer. I think a move or loan out of Atlanta might be the one thing that could save his career.

Maybe. He's from Texas. Was playing for Solar SC. Spent time in the FC Dallas academy.
