I said earlier that I think they should start Higuain and Aguero and try to pull defenders away from Messi. Sampaoli's only two ideas so far has been force everything to Messi and don't give the ball to Messi.

It takes a lot of the pressure off, but they still have no good midfielders or defenders. I'm not going to pretend to know what they have coming up from the youth ranks, but it's amazing they were even able to make it to the WC finals 4 years ago when in all honesty they've been pretty much shite for a while.

Frankly it started off so well.

Our Central American pain in the butt's time wasting came back to bite them in a stoppage time goal. At one point they had two guys laying on the ground ten feet away from eachother like they'd been machine gunned in a WW1 charge.
Alas, it was pretty down hill from there.
