Is this the year for a scudetto?

We really should have an improved team.

All the key players remain in tact plus getting Castan and (hopefully Strootman and Maicon) back are huge additions.

Midfield even without Strootman of Pjanic, Naingollan and De Rossi is top class but tired a bit late last season.

Iago Falque finally seemed to fulfill some of his promise last season for Genoa and has looked good in pre-season and we added Salah as well.

Should have a lot of options in the attack in adding them to Iturbe, Ibarbo, Gervinho, Ljajic and Florenzi.

Not certain how much to expect from Edin Dzeko but, at least, he's going to be what Juve had and we didn't: a big target forward to help against the smaller sides that pack everyone back to defend.

So, I think we'll be a lot better than last season and Juve, in my opinion, will take a step back without Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal.

So, based on our history we'll draw against a couple of lower table teams on the last two matchdays to finish in 2nd.

Yeah, I thought about you being there. Fantastic match to have seen live.

The league is continuing to improve and i think the race will be a little closer this year compared to last.

Yeah, Serie A will be a lot tougher as almost every top side will be better this year aside from perhaps Juve.

Inter may end up being pretty damn good. I tend to think Napoli will be better under Sarri and they seem to be addressing the right problem areas in the mercato (CB/DM).

League is much deeper with solid teams than it has been in almost a decade.

About the mercato: I expect a flurry of deals before it's over. Romagnoli, Destro and/or Duombia and maybe Ljalic and Torosidis to be sold.

Starting LB and backup LB/RB and depth CB to be bought and one more surprising signing (assuming Barca outbids us for the Brazilian kid Gerson).

ou think they sell romagnoli? If they get a bid for 30+ but that would be two young CB for 30 in like 2 years. I know the money is good but having Marquinhos and romagnoli would be awesome for the future

I think there's a good chance he's sold but I absolutely don't believe the idea that we need to sell him to fund the regular market (like we did with Marquinhos).

I think we sell him if there's prospects to be bought that Sabatini likes. Clue here is the €18m bid for Gerson, who wouldn't even be eligible to play this season and probably wouldn't be ready for two more seasons since he's like 18 or 19.

I think it 1) shows that we're not desperate to sell anyone (aside from Destro for other reasons) and 2) would likely be the trigger to sell Romangoli.

€30m for Romangoli is just insane. He will certainly be a very good CB but he may never be quite as good as say Benatia who we bought for €16m and sold for around €28m in his prime.

There's certainly the chance he becomes the next Nesta and "we look the fool" as Romans would say but there's just as much chance he ends up being as good as Astori.

That said, I personally hope we keep Romagnoli even if may not be the most reasonable move.
