his CV is incredible, and he only really had one good season for Arsenal (the CL final campaign). Arsenal, Milan, Everton, Fulham, Valencia. that's about as good as a CV gets for a guy who went to shite long before the age of 30. drogba broke him.

Seeing some rumors thrown around about Mario Suarez at At. Madrid to Everton. I know he's been hurt and they've brought in Diego Ribas. Can anyone tell me about this guy and would it help Everton?

Another good move for Fulham. Nice guy, always seemed committed, but whoscored had a pretty solid breakdown of his game:

Dan Burn full time is a huge upgrade to Senderos. Burn and Hangeland actually seem to have a clue when they are out there together.

I've never seen a whoscored breakdown where they didn't list any strengths for a player.

Here's the issue. If the Heitinga deal goes through, you now have three first-team center backs: Hangeland, Burn, Heitinga.
Heitinga could play right back, but he won't with Riether. Not sure he could play left back.

I guess I would have preferred that they kept Hughes, just for cover. Maybe there's another young CB they have that they feel like could do ok in an emergency.
But yeah it means they kind of have to finalize the Heitinga deal. Can't go forward with just Hangeland and Burn.

You have Briggs and Amorebieta that could fill in there, but yeah I would have preferred Hughes as cover to those two.

I'm hoping that Fulham gets the Heitinga deal done, because everything I've seen is that deal must be done for Everton to get another player in.

That's right, forgot about Amorebieta.

John Heitinga has left Everton for Fulham on free transfer

Even better the Heitinga deal is on a free. We actually turned a profit on swapping Senderos for Heitinga.

Brave Tiger and Crede: we had a MONSTER day today, and for the entire month. Rene really cut out the dead wood didn't he? Bryan, Berba (hard to call him dead wood, but he was. Shame, really, one of the most sublime talents of this generation,) Senderos, and Adel Taraabt (he was another head case).
I'm sorry to see Aaron Hughes leave, and to QPR of all places, but he'll play well, there. FFC needs to give him a proper send off. He was a solid, quiet player a great professional and servant of the club. Really did the job in the Europa League run.
But wow, what signings, and they all have some kind of connections to the players they'll be playing with. Think about it.
Heitinga--played at Ajax and for the Oranje with Stekelenburg.
William Kvit--played at Copenhagen with Brede Hangeland.
Holtby--played at Spuds with both Dempsey and Scotty.
Mitrogou has some sort of relationship/chemistry with Karagounis.
Plus the two from Manchester United who signed at the last moment Larnell Cole and Ryan Tunniliffe.

There's no doubt that Fulham did well, especially considering Dempsey came in on loan as well.
Kvist is apparently a pretty solid defensive midfielder, and Tunnicliffe might be ready to contribute. Badly needed central midfielders, especially considering the team's best performances under Rene have been with three central midfielders. But couldn't keep that up since we basically just had three central midfielders.
Which brings up a point with Holtby. I think there's some tactical flexibility there - to me it seems like he could be the most advanced of a three man central midfield as well as a number ten type in a 4-2-3-1. He's certainly a much harder worker than Ruiz. It might be a bit of a fluid system.
It all really depends on Mitroglou. We're fairly clearly a one striker team at this point and I would guess the pecking order is Mitroglou- Bent - Roddalega. If he plays like a guy who's worth 12 million and has played well in legit champions league games then Fulham may be ok.
We also clearly upgraded at center back with Heitinga for Senderos.
Would have liked a left back, but it was a pretty good window. As good as Berba can be I was kind of sick of him and his whining
