yeah I think the chances of him coming to MLS have to be pretty high. he said this during the summer in a Q&A on the USSoccer twitter:

Of course. My contract is up next summer and I could see myself in @MLS

The only way he comes to the MLS is as a DP.

Chelsea officially signed Bertrand Traoré today LINK
And it looks like they're turning right around and sending him out on loan:
quote:
Reports coming out of Holland claim Chelsea new boy Bertrand Traore is poised to Vitesse Arnhem on loan. Chelsea confirmed the signing Burkina Faso midfielder Traore on New Year's Day and it looks like he will be joining the likes Patrick van Aanholt, Christian Atsu and Lucas Piazon at Vitesse with the Dutch club enjoying a link-up with Chelsea over players.
And also more comments regarding a Chelsea player:
quote:
Kevin De Bruyne's agent has revealed the midfielder wants to leave Chelsea, with Germany his preferred destination. Wolfsburg and Bayer Leverkusen are thought to be battling it out to sign the Belgian international in this month's transfer window. De Bruyne's agent, Patrick De Koster, had admitted the player hopes to secure a permanent move away from Chelsea rather than going out on loan again.
Also, John Heitinga turned down a move to West Ham...hoping for better offers.

Dezeko would seem to be a good choice to replace Lewandowski, if City are willing to sell...

At this rate, Vitesse's going to end up in the Champions League, thanks to Chelsea

not a bad idea at all. surprised this kind of partnership isn't more prevalent. it would make sense for a lot of clubs, at least in the short term. vitesse could use this as a springboard.

arsenal are the latest to have been linked to Nemanja Matic.

Some of the headlines during the transfer window is just hilarious. I'm a Chelsea fan and the funniest one I've read is the one about Mata leaving. The press are all about taking things out of context and selling papers. But then again, I guess that's their job.
Reus is staying, Lewo is staying (I know there are rumors he's done a psychical at BM but seems unlikely to leave this month.
EDIT: I would like to see Higuain move this window but from what I've heard/read we got our bid rejected and put in another one for 50m euro which seems excessive...

Doesn't Uncle Roman have stake in Vitesse?

Some no-name reporter on Twitter says Kaka to ManU and Samaras to Arsenal.
I think someone needs their meds checked.

Long story short, basically

Interesting rumors circling about Michael Bradley. Apparently Cardiff, Southampton and Leverkusen are interested, although Roma unlikely to sell
I'd avoid the dumpster fire that is Cardiff City at all costs right now, but Southampton and Leverkusen are intriguing. Bradley would fit perfectly as a DLP in Southampton's system. Leverkusen could offer him the chance to play Champions League football this year (albeit likely only two games against PSG), as well as next.

Leverkusen is a good team but they have a pretty good set of center mids there already.

Balague says Diego Costa, Koke and Herrera aren't going anywhere in January or next summer. his sources say all 3 want to stay put.
he also says unless Chelsea lets Jose get rid of him, Mata stays. says Mata has not and will not put in a transfer request.

Atlético de Madrid presented the Argentine José Sosa today.
I don´t know anything about this midfielder, except that he was a champion at Estudiantes under Simeone, and had three years or so at Bayern Munich, and half a year at Napoli.
He is to see playing time as a reserve, the idea being that he take some of the pressure off of young Óliver Torres.

Chelsea are looking to unload Gael Kukuta permanently once they bring him back.
Shame he never worked out. He almost got us into deep s**t.
