Have a son who already wears size 12 and 13 who has wide feet.

Do you all have experience with wide soccer cleats?

Avoid the Nike Hypervenoms. I destroyed my left ankle after switching from Adidas to those Hypervenoms. I went back to the Copa, one size up, and haven't had any problems. I don't even have particularly wide feet. But the Hypervenoms made me feel like I was always walking a tight rope.

Was going to say something along this line.
Just get something that's actually made of leather (Copas, Mizuno, etc.). The leather should provide some stretch to accommodate the wider foot.

The correct answer is New Balance (which comes in widths all the way down to size 4) or Diadora, the softest most plyable boot I’ve ever worn.
