Why Does Seattle's Pitch Look Like Shite?

Part of the beauty of the game is the pitch. The lush green grass. For the most-supported team in MLS, Seattle's pitch looks fricking awful. This is not a new thing. Even if it's artificial turf (which it obviously is), you can make it look a lot better than that. It has that terrible plastic sheen such that it looks almost white from certain angles. /rant
