You see squad rotation depending on who the opponent is
Like I already was saying

The FA sure "respected the competition" by "choosing not to produce" the Liverpool/Shrewsbury TV broadcast.
Way to screw over little Shrewsbury's potential moment in the sun, FA.

Lol you are an idiot
The FA doesn’t pick who goes on tv in England, BBC or BT Sport do
The first match was a national broadcast on BBC1
The entire island saw it on tv they had their time in the sun

It not being broadcasted is best cases scenario for Shrewsbury after Klopp’s decision to run a U12 side out.
It forces Liverpool ticket holders to attend the match or ultimately directly cause Shrewsbury to lose revenue since FA gate receipts are split.
Klopp fricked them by running out this team and announcing it beforehand side and making nobody interested in a ticket.

Yep the away side gets a share of the gate receipts
Forcing Liverpool fans to go ensure they get paid
BBC or BT were not going to show the replay with other better match ups anyway
That and not every match in these rounds is produced by the FA for tv even for international viewers.
This isn’t something new

Klopp is not beholden to Shrewsbury. He’s paid to do what he believes is in the best interest of his club.
Shrewsbury owners said of course they’d rather play full strength Liverpool for increased ticket revenue, but they also understand and respect Klopps decision. Plus, if Shrewsbury win they get another match against another big name club.
Need to let this whole narrative die.

Thread was bumped by a Klopp apologist that came in blaming the BBC when they have absolutely no idea how the system even works

I think most people don’t really care.
FWIW, I think it would be alpha as frick if they win today despite the team he threw out there. I haven’t checked, but last I saw it was tied.

Word.
Yeah just checked and it’s tied and stats say Shrewsbury have 0 shots and like 35%ish possession lol.
Would be badass if the kids pull it off, but I would also sort of feel bad for Shrewsbury. Mental and fiscal kick in the nuts.

If they lose this game I can only assume they spiral out of control and are relegated. Idk how you come back from a loss here, but who knows.
ETA: they are pretty far down the league one table, but idk if they can even bottle it enough to be relegated. The bottom three there are miles off.

All the pressure is on them
The Liverpool kids shouldn’t have any on their shoulders

Agreed, would be a good way to "make it up" to them

You tried to blame the FA but it was BBC who picks the national television match
That was the only match today on tv
None of the other where even on espn+ for English speaking viewers
