no Im 24 and i played for 10 years before i stopped my sr yr in high school. I played intramurals every year while at LSU and occasionally go to burbank and kick around with the hondurans/mexicans. I played indoor only a few times when i was younger and dont recall all the rules except the ball cant hit the top net and cant pass in in the air past the blue lines or whatever color lines.

If anyone needs a player let me know. If not i guess i can go get shoved on some rando team.

Or can someone post a link to the website or post the number to the complex?

im 25 and soccer was part of my life for 17 years but basketball was even more for 22 years. i never enjoyed soccer as much as i should have and found myself soaking up pick up games and indoor games more than i did the club games and school games when i was worried about not fricking up my body. if you want to play they can probably throw you on a team. i rep mighty ducks fc kinda hard.

there are several teams (in both divisions) that are having to play shot. i think it's like $10 a game to play if you aren't signed up.

You can look at the leagues and teams using this website LINK
It has the standings for the leagues (other than coed, for which they don't post scores) and the rosters for all teams.

The contact info for the league is available here LINK

Our div1 team needs help, I can email you our team information if you want to join.

If the $10/game thing is true you can def start playing this season.

Yeah, we've had to have friends show up to play for a few of our games, because we were gonna be short. The 11:30pm games are kinda bullshite. We have about 4 dudes on our team that have to be up for work early and refuse to come to the late games. 2 of our first 4 were 11:30 games too.

I agree with them. There's no way in hell I could make a 11:30 game.

not kinda bullshite, they are complete bullshite. the one 11:30 game i played was miserable. you end up not getting home til 1 and then you're still too wound up to get to sleep for awhile....6:30 came pretty early

For those of you in the Premier league on Tuesdays, how competitive is it? I am in the Thursday league, and some teams are terrible while others are very competitive. By looking at the scores, it looks like Tuesdays are the same way.

I originally signed up for Div 1, not Premier, and I stocked my team accordingly: buddies who have played but not that much.

After getting spanked the first two games (we got bumped up to Div 1 without being asked) we added some better players and have been competitive in games 3 and 4. If we had a goalie, we would have won both of the last two.

It's competitive. You'll need guys who have played soccer for major chunks of time. Good athletes with no skill won't do much good.

So far, only 1 of the 4 teams we played was really good. Our problem was not playing together before hand. It took a couple of games to get it together. From what I've seen, a few of the better teams have 1 or 2 really good players making all the difference.

Gotcha...I signed up for a team in Division 1 to test the waters. I played club ball for years and high school in the nola area and have since taken a few years off after tearing my knee up in an intramural game my junior year at LSU. I'd like to get onto a team in the premier division once I've got my step back.
