I don't see this guy playing a game in the MLS as of now. All he does is produce goals & assists and at any level.

Americans going from college to europe is rare but it does happen. Usually when they are just like frick this.
If he does like others he won't move to a big club and most likely a 2nd division club in England or Germany or lower tier first division in Holland,France or Belgium.
Thing is the players his own age will all be just as good esp in a place like Germany where the young kids play on the II vs grown arse men in lower divisions.

I don't think he bypasses MLS. He seems to have a lot of Donovan in his personality. He will be the highest paid HGP ever for Seattle, where his dad is the team doctor.

And by "any level", you mean college and B internationals, right?

Jordan Morris is a faster. and American, Harry Kane.

Ehhh. Slow down. Kane is a great finisher

I believe that Seattle would have to sell him for that to happen

Wouldn't they just have rights to him if he signed with MLS?
They might be entitled to some kind of compensation, but I'm not sure that they'd have to sign off on it

They get nothing if he leaves for Europe other than holding his rights

Seattle bc the youth players belong to the club until they actually ink an MLS pro deal.
Issue is once these MLS academies really start producing players of top quality the kids could just see their youth deal out and leave to go abroad around 18-19 bc of EU laws most can't go there before that age.
Im not sure if Morris still has his youth team deal with Seattle. He wouldn't be playing for Stanford if he ever inked an MLS deal. He would have lost his amateur status.

MLS academy players aren't signed to any type of contract and can sign with a club outside of the league at any time. I know a couple of clubs want to make changes after losing youth players to Mexican teams without the ability to get compensation. I'm also sure the Galaxy aren't happy at losing Haji Wright to the Cosmos for nothing.
