Dude I understand, and don't blame you for not watching the other. World Cup is sick and should be watched by all sports fans like the Olympics and super bowl.
I do think there are alot of people who would watch it more frequently (and maybe you) if there was a Real Madrid- Chelsea game (or another sick matchup) in a prime time spot in the US. like the NBA finals, or a good MNF match up, there would be alot of casual fans that would tune in who will never watch soccer because there is no such game available
