Absolutely not a knock. I'm just saying he is good not great. And yes it would make him one of the most successful players in american history.

WTF? Schalke is a perfectly good club for him. They are big in the budesliga and hover around the Europe spots.
Sorry, but we dont usually have players starting for teams in European tournaments.

I’ve been saying for a while that Schalke is killing his growth. He can’t find consistent time at any position because they’re such a dumpster frick. Bad teammates, bad coaching, and bad leadership. He needs to move.

I think he's solid. He's the motor we'll need in the midfield if we're going to truly compete in a world cup. The inconsistencies will likely decrease as he continues to develop.
