Well the point of possessing the ball is to get the defense into bad situations. So when you pull them forward, that's when you maybe hit one over the top or quickly switch the field and try to open them up. It's not necessarily about being direct, it's about being smart once Arsenal does start to press higher.

Arsenal back to their old ways, Cazorla passes up on the shot, Podolski passes up on the shot. Instead they send in a cross to a man behind 2 defenders.

We can possess the ball without getting ourselves into trouble. That's more of what I meant. They get a little too careless when knocking it around and make a few passes too many instead of getting the ball into the next level when pressure is coming down.

The front 5 all look very good. They are just taking too long to hit a shot. Liverpool's defense is doing a great job getting in the way of shot opportunities.

Arsenal's defense still very susceptible on the counter though.

Theo Walcott has really been impressing me lately. He's much better than I thought he was.

This shite is so irritating. The same crap works every match against Arsenal. Can't defend set plays, or crosses. Szczesny not the best coming out on crosses either.

His first half last match was even worse.

Good news for Arsenal fans is that the past few 2nd halves, OMG they have been unbelievable on attack.

Walcott is deadly when you use him as a ST on Fifa.

Whenever Downing gets the ball, the camera might as well pan to the other end of the pitch. You can bet he'll give it away.

I agree (ETA: Well, up until that pass at least).

I wonder how much a solid presence at the back(keeper) would stem those frick ups in our back line

A vet keeper, and a vet CB who can still cut the mustard would work wonders for them.
