1) YES!!!
2) He should of been met at the team bus and told to find his own way home.
3) Its the coaches job to make the system fit the players Beerholder is trying to do the opposite. Put your players in situations where they can be successful.
4) We should of at minimum interviewed Tata for input. Not sure he is the right fit but it is idiotic that we didn't. We could of probably hired Wagner if we tried at the time we hired GGG. We can't touch him now. Cherandolo? (Sp)
6) Bradley and Roldon. Should be gone. Beg Nagbe to come back.

Do you want GB fired right now?

Yes. Not even a question. Didn't deserve the job in the first place.

quote:

How much more time do you give him?

None. If you have to wait, schedule a win or fired game with a World Cup worthy South American or Euro at full strength. US Soccer has money to pay for that kind of friendly.

quote:

In your eyes, is the problem more about player pool, the coach, or the USSF?

Coach, then USSF, then way down the line...like 50 things later...player pool. We aren't to a level that would allow us to make a deep run, but losing to Canada and Jamaica is unacceptable for any coach. Should curb stomp Concacaf teams minus Mexico.

quote:

Honest opinion on who you’d replace GB with should he be fired?

Plenty of options out there. If USSF shite show insists on a MLS coach/US coach, there are at least a few serviceable options: Bob Bradley 3.0, Vermes, Tab Ramos, etc. Berhalter had a 38% win percentage prior to US job...Vermes is at 55% after a bad season.

quote:

What is your best eleven and next six from our current player pool?

Depends on the formation/tactics. Steffen/Horvath battle for the 1, but I don't mind Guzan as a grizzled vet as the 3. Yedlin is unquestioned RB, CB is a mess, mostly because we never get to see our best paired up. Brooks, Miazga, CCV, then maybe Zimmerman and Long. LB is Antonee Robinson or Dest (provided he pick us). That is where it gets tricky. Do you play pulisic in his best position on the wing, or play your heart and soul best player in the middle as a CAM? Tyler Adams and McKennie join him in Midfield. If you have Bradley as a CDM in a deep destroyer role who rarely makes it to the box, then you can go 4-1-4-1, with Weah on the wing and Sargent up top. From there you can go alot of different ways with tyler boyd, arriola, Bobby Wood (in form), Tim Ream as a good backup, Duane Holmes, Novakovich. I'd love to see a Nova/Sargent pairing up top.

Should we abandon veteran players at this point and simply build for our future?

Certain veterans should stick around. Guys like Bradley and Guzan have played at the highest levels for both club and country. They can keep youngsters grounded and funnel their emotions rather than see it blow up. But 28+ age vets who've never made it out of MLS, Peace.

Nova is no better than Zardes.

Disagree. Substantially better touch and is bigger/more physical enough to hold up the ball. Zardes' best trait is his motor, but that is pretty much all he has at the international level. Considering we don't have the ability/personnel to press effectively, that is pretty much wasted. Need hold up play and touch with our player pool. Nova fits that bill.

Everyone over the age of 25 from the Panama match and this most recent Canada match should be discarded.

Yes, coaching is a symptom of the real problem and the need to burn it all down, fire everyone associated with Male Soccer in America and start over from scratch. Doesn’t matter who our best 11 are they are not good enough.
