USL has just announced a rebrand for USL, USL D3, and USLPDL.
They will now be known as USL Championship, USL League One, and USL League Two.

Q: Does the new structure mean there will be promotion and relegation within the leagues?
A: Currently the United Soccer League is focused on establishing a successful new third division in USL League One to help fill out the professional U.S. soccer structure which is a necessary precursor to any implementation of a promotion and relegation system. That said, the new structure does lend itself well to some form of promotion and relegation in the future.

For those of you that constantly gripe about there not being pro/rel in US soccer, you better make sure you start supporting your nearest USL League One team.

I think FC Dallas is starting a USL team. Not sure where they will play, or what division they are aiming for (will be the Championship or League One).

I wish they would put it in actual Dallas and then play at SMU.
The chances of that I’d assume are almost zero, but a man can dream

I don't know much about Dallas so excuse my ignorance, but how about a place like Highlander Stadium, Forrester Stadium, or another stadium that's smaller than SMU's? For a 2nd division USL team, I think they should consider a place that's closer to 10k seats than the 32k at SMU, at least to start with. If you can sell that out fairly easily and create a good atmosphere, then consider a larger stadium.

Is Money gram Soccer Park too far away from Dallas?

Check.
STLFC is growing. Solid attendance. The only thing that scares me is that scares me is that we haven't made it to the playoffs yet. A lot of energy in the city when it first started, but im worried if we dont make the playoffs soon, the support will start to drop.

This is near my house
That would be a good spot. Not much seating though? I’ve only driven by.

Oh yeah. I was thinking maybe a little more long-term. Looks like there's a lot of barren property surrounding the park. Seems like a good spot to build a 5-15k seat stadium, and you can add a little parking as well.
Get some pick up games going before the game, and the local kids will literally be playing in the shadow of an attainable goal.
