Another thrilling goalless draw.:rolleyes
GAM had way too many negative touches. Back line was solid, though. Especially the subs.
This team needs a finisher. Jozy could have had one, if he could have stayed onsides.

What I learned today/what was reinforced:
Pearce-got better, still average
Edu-
Baby Bradley-gotta be better with the distribution
German Jones-baller and a half
Lichaj-pretty good debut

Thoughts:
Jermaine Jones is amazing. I really think we could have gone to the semis if he had played this summer.
Lichaj looked good for the time he was on.
Guzan is very good.
Benny should not be allowed to take set pieces.
Pearce did well most of the match, except for two egregious mess ups.
Brek Shea is too slow for a NT player.
GAM should not be given the shirt again. He's terrible.
This ref was laughably bad.
Colombians dive like Portuguese.
Jozy should have had a goal.
Stu played well.

I meant in general. One of the anti-soccer crowds fav complaints. It was a pretty exciting match, at least the last 30.

OK, here is my rant. We want soccer to become more popular in the US. We put the USMNT on Prime Time on a Tuesday with only MLB Playoffs on tv. I understand that Bob wants to try some shite, and some different players, however, save that for the Uzbekistan friendly that is on ESPNU at 11 PM on a Wednesday. You have a chance to get someone to watch soccer and you run GAM out there and had Jozy ridin' solo up front for the entire first half. I just don't get it. Now the people that did give it a chance get to come back with the ol' all soccer games end 0-0 bullshite. Dear Bob, pucker up
