2.) The set pieces have been awful.

That is 5 goals in Extra time for the USA. I think 3 against El Salvador and 2 against Canada.

This is an interesting ploy....I have never seen the losing team all go down with injury to delay time.

Hell yea, that is like 5 red cards and we have fought with El Salvador and Canada in Extra Time.

Scoreless till extra time. Then one of our defenders (Nate Smith) shot one from about 40 ft out for the first score in the 91st. Then we scored two more.


It got chippy at the end. One player from each team was thrown out.

We also got into a fight with El Salvador after we scored two on them in Extra time. Our Goalkeeper went to grab a ball and had his foot sticking out and kicked a dude in the face. I think 4 people was thrown out of that game.


Then if you remember back to the Milk Cup punches were thrown in that tournament too. It was U-18 last year though.

Very inconsistent. They'd make a great pass and then pass it directly to them.


I think Mario Rodriguez, Andrew Oliver, Manny Perry-Acosta, Alejandro Guido, Alfred Koroma are all going to be good players.

Nate Smith had a awesome goal and he is a defender. I'd like to see more of him in action to be honest.

FYI. I haven't seen a ton of U17 games. Just my $.02
