The Jozy transfer just seems like a giant joke to me. They don't want to pair Torres with world class strikers why would they suddenly have an interest in Jozy

Very true. But how does he compare to other young forwards? Honestly haven't watched him play much outside of USMNT

he turned 23 last month and is the fourth leading goal scorer in the Dutch league. That's fairly strong.

Probably not Chelsea solid, but I think he's ready for a move.

Terrence Boyd to Liverpool (England) The young American has scored 10 goals this semester across competitions for Rapid Vienna, something that Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers, lacking for striking talent, reportedly finds of interest. The move to Anfield could come as soon as early 2013 if those reports are to be believed, although Boyd would have to continue to convince through the rest of the winter to earn what would be the shock transfer of the year for Americans.

I could see something like this happening.. but probably not this year as he's too raw.

But you know that the Liverpool owners would love to bring in a legitimate player who is American.

Most of these transfer rumors are on a Daily Mail level of journalistic hearsay.

Jozy has been scouted by some of Europe's elite clubs while at AZ. That doesn't mean that they want to sign him. Midtable EPL clubs or a decent Italian club would fit him better.

The Terrence Boyd rumor seems completely contrived.

I agree with most people about the Jozy transfer. Shouldn't happen. I'd like to see him return to being a starter for the national team and I just don't think that move with help that unless he just randomly got 1st team opportunities at Chelsea which I just don't see happening.

Lots of clubs keeping an eye on Maher as well at AZ, wouldn't be suprised if that's who Chelsea really is watching.

How about Jozy to Liverpool? American owner, only 2 strikers on the roster and one of those is injured. Surely he will play a good bit. If there's one thing 'pool needs it's someone that can score goals.

They can't afford him and are about to buy Sturridge anyways.

His "market value" on some website is around 3 million pounds... Depending on his contract length I could see it going up to around 5 at least.

Also his middle name is Volmy.

Can't afford him? Anyone in the PL could afford Jozy.

Maybe Stoke (18 goals in 19 games) should give Jozy a look

Kenny Cooper apparently wants to go to Celtic. He supposedly gave a radio interview yesterday about it.

January? Nowhere, unless someone starts throwing funny money around. Summer? Pool, Villa, Sunderland or Stoke.

Did you see his goal on Boxing Day? It's in that thread.
