...just sayin'. They flop like pansies, but are real good.

That is all.

HUP HOLLAND!

fwiw I'm a Holland fan but this is a bit like a CRon fan complaining about flopping, Robben is arguably the biggest flopper in the entire sport.

And I think there are worse flopping countries than Argentina.

The only country left whose players aren't notorious floppers is Germany.

100% agree. I think Holland can win without him and would prefer that. He is a flopper and between him and van persije, you have the 2 biggest primadonnas in the sport.
I cheer for the other 10 players on the field and hope Elia plays more...

Robben isn't even close to CRon in terms of flopping. He dives a few times a game, but he's also fouled pretty often.

Take off your Nazi-tinged glasses and watch Robben. He made CRon look like an American today.

He really only dove like 2 or 3 times, he exaggerated a few fouls, but they were fouls nonetheless.

Robben is clearly at least as big a flopper as Cron. And I hate Cron and am a big Holland fan.

God, some of the blatant homerisms by many of you either for your teams or against teams like Brazil is hilarious.

The dude was flopping worse than the entire Ghanan team against the US combine, yet he gets a pass.

Its not about today, Robben just played like he normally does today, he exaggerates everything, the slightest touch sends him flying and rolling around on the ground in agony.

Ronaldo's a bad flopper but I don't know why he gets singled out above all other guys. Drogba, for example, is awful about it.

I was just comparing Robben's performance today. I know he's know as one of the worst floppers around. It cracks me up that people were making fun of the Brazilians for bitching, when it was obvious what he was doing, yet the ref did nothing.

I can't in good faith support any team with such ridiculous floppers on it. Even if its only 1 or 2 players.

How much effect do you all think the players over exaggerated look of agony has on the official? I dont really buy into the fact that the ref bases a decision, at all, on how contorted a player can make their face look

depends upon how violent or dangerous the situation is.

two footed challenge and agonized face? red card

bullshite, pedestrian foul? not much

Agreed, but my point was the official isnt basing his decision on how qualified the player is to be the lead on a daytime soap opera. I just dont believe the ref jogs up and buys into players acting jobs, then changes what he was originally going to call.

yeah, but i think that in borderline decisions, it could play its role. maybe something looked dangerous, but the referee wasn't sure. i could see it playing its role there, but i think for the most part, referees are aware of that shite, maybe too aware.
