I was disappointed with Wood against Colombia. Hopefully, today is his redemption should he start the match.

He would do better if he wasn't on the wing.

Well this is a must win right? A loss kills us and a draw dosent really do anything

A draw keeps us alive.

I agree but he also looked physically dominated by Colombia which makes me think about how he would make his presence felt in front of goal. He seemed not up to the task, not prepared, and even intimidated. He certainly should be capable, though, and I look forward to seeing him establish himself.

I am so frustrated with the formation we have been in being called a 4-3-3... Deuce NEVER plays as a true center forward in it. He has basically been an attacking mid, falling deep into the midfield constantly.

Why cant we run a legit 4-3-1-2, and get Bobby off of the fricking wing like pville suggests!?

Back line of Yedlin, Brooks, Cameron, and Fabs,

Mids being Bradley, Nagbe, Pulisic, and Deuce, attacking the left flank in a big way with Nagbe centrally and Pulisic pushing that wing (Deuce falling back since that is all he does anyway)

And quit playing games with Zardes... Either make him stay up top and off the wing, or play Wondo in combination with Wood. I can't believe I am about to say this, but I'd like to see what those two can accomplish together... At least Wondo has a first touch.

This makes you slightly more bearable despite the faux English schtick.

Opposition attacks would run rampant through this midfield.

You know what makes me stronger and better in my job?

Knowing exactly what my role is and what is expected of me in that role.

Hendo, did you not see that thread when I posted that interview - LINK

You guys seriously don't laugh at how bad that was? I mean, I wanted to win that game as much as anyone. 2002 German handball still angers me, but that Wondo whiff makes me chuckle every time!
