I am seriously confused as to which game you watched.

quote:

Yedlin is the guy that adds the spark. No one can stay with his pace. He is a part of so many of our creative chances because he has video game level speed.

Yeah the problem is he rarely shows that he has a clue on how to use that pace. He isn't making runs in behind, he can't really dribble past people, and he isn't great around the box.

He is largely nonexistent for stretches of the game because he doesn't get involved in any build up play.

Just got back from the game. Frustrating at times, but fun all around. Peru fans showed up.

Because Ream has wayyyyyyy more experience as a professional, and has played better than Brooks in both league and with the national team imo. Bolton player of the year in the championship for the past two years while Brooks isn't even a consistent first teamer. Ream is actually pretty athletic (see: fast) and is a much more aware player on the field. I want my centerbacks to be fast and aware. I've been more impressed with Ream than Brooks, though I think Brooks is a fantastic prospect. His technique is very good. Ream's is too, and he's a better passer as well. Ream has better judgment on the field. Just a smarter player all around. I actually think he and Cameron or Besler could be a really solid tandem. I do like Cameron in midfield though. I'd like to see more of Williams too since him starting could affect Cameron's position.

Looked like a typical friendly vs a latin team we are supposed to beat.
