I just realized I know the GAM sign guy. He is AO Seattle's chapter leader.

We went out the other night and got fricked up.

Did he get his hand pinched between the partitions? I really couldn't tell what he did. I do appreciate the self injury that causes him to leave no matter the outcome of the game. At least he is consistent with his time wasting. frick Ruiz.

I love how someone mentioned the dangerously close ad boards in this thread and Ruiz got hurt by them seconds later.

Hardly, use of the term originated elsewhere.

It's impossible to be familiar with that interview and have anything other than that be your take home message.

Holy shite what a game.
- Deuce is back on form and what a difference that makes. His best game in the shirt?
- GAM is providing width and wreaking havoc out wide. Loving him out there. ALthough I am still trying to figure out how he whiffed on that sitter
- Zusi with some beautiful balls in
- Bradley is still the fricking man
- You have to love Herc's nonstop motor. Won that corner which led to the first goal. Huge props to him on that
- Dolo with another great game. Great ball to release GAM on the right for the 2nd goal

Has Zusi shown enough to earn a starting spot when everyone is healthy?

I don't think so, because he's a midfielder, and our best three are also mids.

MAYBE if Jurgen plays something like Williams as CDM, bradley cm, Donovan/zusi on the sides and then Dempsey + flavor of the month striker up top.

Haven't read the thread, and couldn't join in live because I was watching the game late off my DVR.

One of the best passing performances I've seen from the US, maybe ever. Outside of the first five minutes it was a complete performance, everyone looked solid.

Oh, and as long as he's healthy Zusi needs to be in the starting 11.

yes, without question.

when Landon is back you push him out wide right and let Zusi start on the left.

I think Johnson has shown that even with everyone available he needs to be in the 18 at least. And I'm starting to wonder if Donovan will ever truly regain his form. He's a 30 year old who relies alot on pace

Which is crazy because GAM is not a winger...he's a center forward. But, as those of us who have watched him in MLS season can say, he's got that drive to turn his career around. It doesn't matter where you put him, he has it in him to succeed. He worked hard in Seattle for this second chance and even though he's playing out of his natural position, he still finds a way to prove he truly belongs.

he was only a winger per the line up. He played a lot of the game as a CF.

There was a lot of movement and interchanging, between Dempsey, Zusi, GAM, and Herc.

It was really nice to see.

I'm starting to believe more and more than he might not make it to 2014. Would love if he did. What's good though is that we are getting looks at younger guys in meaningful games leading up to that

GAM did cause problems on the wing in both games there. Made some good drives to the touch line last night and served in some decent balls or won corners

True, but he was involved in attacks down both wings last night more than he's used to. You hardly see him do that in Seattle...usually floats around the middle with Fredy.

I can assure you he hasn't had to drop back and pressure in defense as much as he did last night.
