(No surprise here, right?)

The shot of the German fan crying after Balotelli's second goal in the semis was a lie.

Yes, there were tears shed by that fan, but not at that time. UEFA recorded the shot of her crying during the German national anthem and placed it in the most dramatic moment of the match.

Oh, and the shot of Low knocking the ball from the ball boy during a match? Happened during pre-game.

Nice. Just like the commentators, I thought it was a little early for the crying as well.

Wow, I heard they used pre-recorded footage as live but I thought they just meant the half time show or some such shite.

Pretty ballsy to use shots like the woman crying.. I remember Ian Darke commenting on that as well "surely it's too early for tears already?"

The "tournament" was actually filmed June 2011 and was "played" over a 7 day period. It cost millions and may be one of the most expensive TV series ever created. UEFA, you did it again! I hope the sequel has more twists, though.

As for the filming shite, it's ridiculous how much they do this. For example, I was at a Comedy Central taping at Bonnaroo, and they would make us get all pumped up, film it, and then put it places. They even dictated where everyone sat. They obviously put me in the pit on the edge because I'm incredibly photogenic. For one joke, I remember thinking "Wow, only like 4 people laughed." When they showed it, everyone erupted. Insane.
