Castro gets a yellow because Busquets fell down trying to shoulder him. Great call, referee

Oh my god. Kießling and mascherano go into a challenge, mascherano falls down. Called a foul. What an awful ref. the only thing kießling did wrong was being bigger

Are there any refs that you all actually think do a good job? (I haven't really noticed any, but I guess that's the point... if they do they're job right they aren't well known.)

In the SFA? No. They're all, at best, incompetent.

Isn't Nicolas Gaitan (benfica) the hot prospect in this match?

This pitch in the Zenit-Benfica game is just amazingly bad.

Never seen Gaitan before, but he just tried to curl a shot in from the by-line with a striker sitting unmarked in the box. Hilariously selfish play.

benny hill music would have been perfect for the last 5 minutes of the zenit/benfica match

yep. I find it astonishing that a stadium of this magnitude and noteriety, with months to prepare, haphazardly shite out columns of loose soil.

gawd I'm gonna be pissed if we fall victim to another turf injury (re: Mertesacker at Sunderland's quagmire)

We're starting two actual fullbacks and two actual center backs at the same time!

It's going to be interesting, the chemistry from the backline will probably not be there at all. Verm back into the center, Gibbs who never plays out there, and Sagna back on the right after a brief bit of time there and on the left.

Don't like Rosicky out left, I'd rather AOC, any threatening wiger really.

Pitch looks like a pice of shite, oh my.
