in other news, corinthians to go broke in 3 years

Corinthians deny Tevez deal accepted
Anyone else think Corinthians just did it as a publicity stunt and never thought City would accept and now are shitty on themselves because they don't have 40large.

That would be hilarious for everyone involved. My guess is that if this deal falls through, City lowers their price even more.

i don't see how corinthians could afford 40M pounds + tevez's wage

That is another way out of the deal for them. Low ball him and say you couldn't come to an agreement on wages.

However it then comes out that Tevez was 100% about his family, and wants to go to Souh America no matter what the cost so accepts what ever they offer

Not sure what to think about the Tevez move. He's my favorite player, so it would suck to see him move. I guess I'll just wait to see how the next week plays out.

Why the hell would you take a pay cut to join "money city"

Damn, Aguero makes 240,000 a week?!?
I can't verify the accuracy, but here are some salary numbers from last year. If 240,000 a week is in-season only, that's 8-9 million over 35 weeks.

Off the field. On the field he is amazing.

He is whinny off the pitch. But on it he works his arse off and squeezes everything out of his talent.

Souleymane Coulibaly to Spurs. Nice pickup for the future, but Spurs could use a striker that can help them out now.
