I just like Valencia a lot. Watched them a lot before Villa and Silva were sold. I want to have a daughter and marry her off to Ever Banega.

So is the general thought that Wilshere will eventually start playing in a more advanced Cesc type-role assuming Cesc leaves? I kind of think he's suited to play a little deeper.

Agreed. Ramsey will probably be more forward.

He came up as a wide midfielder actually, and before his loan at Bolton, was thought of as an Arshavin type wing forward. He played this role prominently in every first team start (pre-season and one CL game) until after his Bolton loan, where he went B2B. Now Wenger has played him deeper than anyone ever thought to play him, and he's played amazingly well. We have options there, with Wilshere, Ramsey, and maybe a couple of other youths. It will probably be Wilshere in my opinion, as his ability to drive into the box, and hopefully he develops a final ball to match. He has that ability.

I see him as a deeper player. I thought he was brilliant in the role last year, especially his game against Olympiakos. Check out this pass at 1:50 from that game LINK.

He could conceivably move forward as well, as he's really good with the ball at his feet, but I really like his ability to move the ball to the wings, and to pick forward passes between the lines.

That's the thing, Ramsey seems like another deep lying playmaker IMO. But I was actually surprised by how combative Wilshere was. He doesn't mind tackling, covers ground, seems to have good range of passing, and obviously keeps possession well. I'm not saying he couldn't handle a more advanced role but he just looks like a deep lying playmaker to me. Like I said, so does Ramsey so that's a bit of an issue. I'm not a big Arsenal fan so I don't watch as many games as the rest of you do but to me he didn't look as good in an advanced role last year. Obviously he's young so that could change.

This almost certainly won't happen but Aguero to Arsenal seems perfect to me. I know they don't seem to like spending big, big money but he's young, not likely to be a bust, and would fit in well. If you have Cesc money to play around with, why not? Of course he'll probably be gone somewhere else by then.

If/when Cesc leaves, we will have to change the way we play. Cesc was instrumental in us moving to a three man midfield, mostly because he was so poor defensively. Who knows how we will play when he leaves. I can see us remaining with a three man midfield, but what we will look like upfront will be interesting. Aguero pairing with Van Persie is boner-worthy.

If Aguero goes to an English club his song has to be based off "Que Onda Guero" by Beck.
