It's the team my Dad supports and we were from near the area.

The present-day matters, Adamm. West Ham sucks. Bayern used to have a good defense, now they couldn't defend a group of legless orphans.

I agree it matters but I'm not going to switch teams just because mine got relegated. Hopefully they'll be back next year.

You can have Joe Cole back FWIW.

You shouldn't switch teams, I agree. I'm just saying you shouldn't say QPR is a shite team when they're on a higher level than your team.

yeah you're right. All I meant is that traditionally West Ham is the superior team but right now QPR are the better side.

Geordies are brilliant. They want to let him walk for free after next year. Sell him.

My offseason transfer ramblings I've read:
Blackpool activated a clause to keep Charlie Adams another 12 months.
Patrice Evra is telling Nasri to come to MUFC if he wants to win titles.
Rafa Benitez is an idiot. He said he was going to get more players for Liverpool and said X. Alonso would be coming off the bench.
Johan Elmander is gone from Bolton.
Sol Campbell was released. MLS BOUND BABY (I think so soon)

The Spaniard's future was the subject of constant speculation 12 months prior to his departure after then Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez confirmed his interest in bringing Gareth Barry to the club as Alonso's replacement.
The Barry move failed to materialise and Alonso stayed on for the 2008/09 season, but the 29-year-old admits Liverpool's pursuit of Barry made it too uncomfortable for him to stay on Merseyside.
"At the end of that season, speaking to Rafa, he told me the situation and that he wanted to sign other players and I could be one of the replacements," Alonso told Liverpool's official website.
"If an offer would have come, probably I would have been sold. That's when I told myself that the situation had changed - from being a very important player to being one of those who can be sold to get funds to sign other players.
