Yep.
Most importantly, these billionaires care more about their reputation as a businessman than anything. Marinakus didn’t want to look embarrassed and Levy got bullied, as easy as that is.

Maybe in the end it’s a blessing in disguise. This is my cope.

I’m not sure this is the case. I think Marinakis had something on MGW or his agent and threatened to sue/ruin them into oblivion if he didn’t renew his contract. Could be anything, though.
Could be, Maranakis seems like a problematic guy. Telegraph came out with the story today saying
quote:
Such clauses can be very complex, and it is understood that Tottenham fell short of activating a number of conditions.
So it’s saying we didn't even activate the release clause properly in the first place. Then why threaten Tottenham with legal action if we did wrong?
As one commentator said
quote:
So, it's a secret, very complicated release clause that was leaked to Spurs and our bid was suspicious because it exactly triggered the release clause except it didn't trigger it and Forest are going to complain to the Premier League except they are just gonna send letters to Spurs and the agent. Forest's story has changed so many times on this, I don't know why anyone is taking their word on it
Marinakas got caught looking embarrassed, threw a tantrum and bullied the stall and resigned MGW. Sure it could be he also threatened the agent and MGW, but if we conducted ourselves legally, then Levy could press the issue. My guess is Levy doesn’t even want to carry on this business in dealing with Maranskis, hence having activated the secret release clause in the first place just to avoid the psycho.

Lille's priority is Antonín Kinský. A loan is currently being negotiated with Tottenham.
Our backup keeper? We just sold Keely??

Tottenham ARE in talks for Rodrygo and waiting to see if Liverpool moves. Nothing decided by the player, who could stay at Real Madrid. {@Ramon_AlvarezMM}

If there was actually a negative chance this would happen, that’s pretty much where it is. I don’t think there is anyway he ends up at Spurs.

Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to their ability to consistently create new ways to embarrass this football club.

Müller choosing Vancouver over LAFC. Methinks that says Sonny is landing there…?

I really think the media is just making fun of us at this point.
I read on Reddit that Spurs management is allergic to momentum and I believe it’s 100% true.

They laugh at us anyway being “Spursy” and all. Could also be a ploy to use our name to get Liverpool interested.

Crazy we had a preseason friendly with Arse. Would love to watch, but work won’t allow it tomorrow.
