Enjoy the YIDlen.

I hope he helps keep your side from relegation.

Mason and Dier formed a great pair in midfield. Dier is has been DOMINANT as a defensive mid. We lose this game without him. Dele had a few good moments, but was a but too aggressive and gave the ball away easily a few times. Son showed a few flashes but looked too eager to make an instant impact. Chadli just chadli'd. Back line was decent. Kane...man just play. Great substitutions by Poche, we were much better after Lamela and Townsend came on. Maybe Lamela can make a name for himself as a super sub. Tom Carroll didn't have time to make a mark.

Hopefully Masons injury isn't significant. Coming into Europa play short 4 mids could make for a rough month.

Overall I like what I see from the team.

Dier was still great. I've decided that if I get a shirt with a name, it shall be his. I liked what Son did in his first appearance. I would have preferred him to stay on and let Chadli go off for Townsend. Speaking of, Andros was a nice infusion of pace and energy today. Vert had one of his better games as well. And, while Walker wasn't bad, I'd like to see Trippier on the pitch to see if that gives us a little more offense.

Lamela definitely came in and played more under control then he has this season. Only time I though the "tried to do to much" was when he got dicked by Kaboul. (Let that sentence sink in) He was too aggressive on that play, and it almost turned into the equalizer for Sunderland. Great vision on the assist to Mason though and a perfect example of why we need him in this team.

Davies, and Chadli on the left side is just terrible combination and produces absolutely nothing. They don't do anything bad, they just don't do anything good either. I'm almost to the point now that if we start Davies, we shouldn't start Chadli. Hoping for Rose back full time in the lineup soon.

I agree that Dele and Son were maybe just a little too excited on their first Premier League starts. Great subs by Poche.

Lastly, that was the most composed I have ever seen Townsend. Good touches, looking for teammates, not just trying to bomb the goal. If he can play like that(seems like we say this every year) he could have a special year.

So he's capable at CB, RB, DM...should we just love him up to #10? Just to prove he can?!

Probably should if Eriksen doesn't get back soon.

Actually looked like Kane dropped back for a while today with Son pushing forward. I liked it but maybe a little too soon with it being Son's first match and all. Gave Kane a chance to get some more touches and show a little more versatility.

All of that space inside the box. Defenders watching the ball go over their heads.

Looks like the after work league I play in here. Minus the ability for most of them to put in a dangerous cross or even catch a ball on the volley.

Coming up on our Europa league game...anyone have any predictions on scoring and lineups? I'm excited to see some extended runs from our young academy players and see what our new defensive signings bring to the table.

I'm gonna go 3-1 Tottenham. Goals from Townsend, Lamela, and Pritchard.

I hope we kill them and dominate the group so we can send an absolute bunch of scrubs to Qarabag for the away match.

Really want to see what Trippier can do. Walker has been upsetting me.

That seriously made me laugh... then made me very sad.

I haven't been able to find anything. Does anyone have an update on the Mason injury?
