All of our players seem to slow the ball down and wait for the defenders to make a mistake. Unfortunately, the mistakes often don't come.
Yeah. I definitely noticed that this week. There were a few instances where quick shots would have been better than the actual end result.

Soldado needs to go... I understand Levy is a tough negotiator and all that but he needs to open up the pocketbook for a striker. This was a tough match for me to watch. I went in wishing for a point, then thought we had a decent chance, and then the PK... I knew we would tie it up and hold on for a point. Well, after that embarrassment of a PK by Soldado the wheels fell off and I was left feeling like we will continue to be little brother until we bring in a big name striker.

Can't disagree with anything you said.

If your ST can't take PKs that's a problem.
The one against MC Soldado PK
This is a good one too Soldado Free Kick
Think Kane may play ST soon? Maybe he can help light a fire up front.

We are 1 game out of 4th
Also one game out of 17th
Sitting at 11 points rite now it's funny how one win or loss could be making the fans want completely different things. We win the west brom or Sunderland game we are in a completely different scenario.

It's a two team league right now. Perfect year to steal a Champions League spot.

I refuse to even look at the table anymore. I don't really care about our position....I just want to see improvement in the team each week. One game at a time.

Truth. We have a very good stretch of games coming up. Lots of teams to gain confidence against. Hopefully we can start seeing some progress.

Can't wait for Yedlin to be at Spurs:
(Jan will probably be happy they are on the same team this time)
HE FAST

Asteras Tripolis have averaged 39.1% possession in Europa League, and they have never won a game in Europe. They will try to counter us. We better win big.

Confirmed lineup
Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris (c), Dier, Fazio, Vertonghen, Davies; Capoue, Dembele; Kane, Lamela, Townsend; Adebayor
Subs: Vorm, Chiriches, Chadli, Eriksen, Lennon, Stambouli, Soldado
Some surprises in this lineup. I guess we see the importance of a home win in this match.

Is Vorm still not registered for Europa League?

We are in big trouble with a loss here, and Vertonghen and Fazio need some time to gel together, especially since Vert didn't start last game.
I look for Capoue to dominate today. He was lost against City.

I wish our best striker was the interesting Spaniard or the friendly African. But it's not. Rock mouthed Harry Kane is the man! He deserves to be starting Premier League games.
