Our thread last year went like 100 pages. We are already at 35. Loving the action. Can't wait for Europa and Liverpool this week.

Anybody know some normal passing stats for a player or team. I feel like 600 is alot as well as 170 in two games for one player.

Sorry I'm so late to the party. What a game!!!! Yeah it's QPR, but on the other hand we weren't exactly blowing Fulham out of the water last year either.
Lamela looks like he could be our Ozil(The Real Madrid version). Capoue is back to being a grown arse man like he was at the start of last season before his aresenal injury.
Bentaleb needs to be careful, he had 2 or 3 really careless giveaways but he always hustled back to fix his mistake. If we leave him and Capoue back there together, and with his improvement, we are going to be a force to be reckoned with.
Scariest/Most Exciting part for me is Eriksen didn't even play his best game. Some of his passing and control were a little off. If that's what he looks like on an "off day" I'll take it.
Yeah firstrowdickhead, it's only been two games, but damn't its been fun and we are on top of the table so suck it!

Ok, let's talk about this weekend, what are your expectations against pool? Last year was not a good memory and I've tried to block those thoughts from my head.
If we play strong in the middle like this past weekend I like our chances. If not, well let's just say I don't want to think about it.

I'd be happy with a draw this weekend. It's a definite step-up in competition over anything we've faced in the preseason or early part of this season. Let's see how they fare against Man City today. I'm curious if Balotelli will make his debut against us. If so, I'm thinking he'll be a 2nd half sub.

Liverpool tend to score early we need to not have a slow start like we normally do. I was really happy to see us jump on QPR early last game, usually it takes about 30 minutes or a goal against us to wake up. The game should be wide open I'm hoping we can at least get a point.

I really hope we can somehow beat Liverpool. The Suarez loss is huge for them (similar to Bale for us). It will be interesting to see how they play today. I could see City winning big, and they won't be good for us.
In Spurs news, the Federico Fazio transfer has been confirmed by Sevilla Sporting. Funny enough, I don't see him starting soon with the emergence of Dier, but he is tall and experienced, so we will use him, especially trying to win Europa this year.

My expectations for this weekend are 3 points and nothing less. We will be fighting with Arsenal and Liverpool for the 4 spot, and we have the opportunity to set the tone for the season. They will be short handed up front and this could be our best chance to take advantage. We are sitting atop the league and can provide some early separation with Pool and the Gooners.
That being said, a draw would be acceptable, but I think if we win this game we will get a huge boost in confidence at a crucial time!
COYS!

This. A big win against QPR has bolstered our hopes, just like you predicted.
A big win against Liverpool would turns those hopes into expectations.

Regardless of the outcome this will be an exciting week... Feels like the week leading up to a big SEC game. Stakes maybe aren't quite as high (as far as if Spurs lose we are not out of the chase for 4th), but a win would be huge.

If we beat Liverpool, I will celebrate as if we have just won the damn league. Last year was just so awful against the top clubs.

I'm trying to temper my enthusiasm. I think they can get a win but that nagging feeling from last years beat downs keeps popping in my head.
I'm really pumped and have to go into work that morning at 8:30ish, I'm wondering if I should watch the 1st half or wait and watch the whole thing Sunday afternoon? It's hard not to check the score.

I think we can definently win against 'Pool. We should be able to score at least 2 and the defense (Lloris) hopefully hold them to 1. Hopefully I'll just be getting off for the start of this match but have a feeling I may be working late that night being labor day weekend think I'll have to sign EO list to make it home on time!

I hope you aren't saying Lloris is our defense. Goalkeepers are important, but even the best goalkeepers don't make a defense great.

That's no guarantee. City only has a goal at half, and it was a pretty ugly/lucky one.

Geez Liverpool. You couldn't just keep it within two so we stay up top by ourselves?!?
