Absolutely

As long as the defense can hold together its only a matter of time before Bale works his magic

Did LOLloris frick up on that equalizer? I've only seen a shitty gif of it and it's hard to tell.

The highlight I saw looked like Lloris completely whiffed. I'd like to know what happened with the penalty kick? What resulted in the penalty? I don't see that a yellow was issued before it.

Assou Ekotto brings down Suarez in the box. There certainly was enough contact to get the penalty. I believe it would have been called in any match that does not feature the USMNT.

Thanks. Just thought it weird that a PK was awarded without a card coming out.

Just finished. Well gentleman, we gave that one away.

Lloris with the non clearance. And Defoe should get an assist for his pass to Saurez before the penalty.

Congrats, we gifted your team 2 goals, started a 3rd stringer (livermore), and you guys won by 1 at home.

Yeah definitely gift wrapped those but we don't usually get those though so super excited.

More importantly we got points against a TOP squad and didn't draw.

I believe y'all might have been the better today but still glad to pick up the points. Now can y'all some win every other game and somehow displace those frickin mancs

Enjoyed the banter spurs

Other than Bale, Saurez may be my favorite player in the league. Great talent. I usually like Liverpool, obviously just not this week.

I find it funny how these LFC supporters like to ride on the coattail of previous generations success. Try winning something first...

Nah, not that bitter. We'll bounce back. Just do us a favor and take some points off of Chelsea next month.

I know, I'm just giving y'all some hell. Most entertaining game of the season by far. And I'd be more than happy to take it to Chelsea, but then we'd have to listen to their usual incessant whining about how much they suck and how terrible Rafa is. I guess you have to take the good with the bad.

If you look at it like that. Both the Verthongen goals were unfortunate from Liverpool's point of view along with some shoddy defending and bad refereeing. The first one Gerrard and Bale both go for the ball Gerrard wins it fair and square and Bale rolls around clutching his head, Spurs get a freekick that starts the play that results in the goal. Also Bale goes out and gets back inside play before their is a restart.
The second one was never a foul Lucas touches Bale's shoulder and Bale clutches his face and gets a free kick that results in the second. Again the ball bounces off of Johnson and Agger and right in front of Verthongen.

Fair points, but you have to agree that Lloris and Defoes frick ups were on a different level.
