Hats off to Madrid for using the sale of two backups to pay for a huge chunk of that if true.

Monaco already said that there is no truth to there being an agreement between the two clubs. Real will also likely sell Bale if M'Bappe does go there.

ETA: That's w/ Google translate so sorry for the shite translation lol, but it's on r/soccer as well

Why? They don't need the money, and they'd probably have to turn around and buy a replacement.

Well Benzema isn't leaving. So are you going to have M'Bappe not playing regularly? I doubt he's going to want to leave knowing he isn't first choice at the moment when he can stay and be the man at Monaco.

Ehhhhh, it's Real Madrid. And if they're willing to make a world record deal for you now, join and break into that rotation up top. He can be the top flex man, so to speak, between striker and winger.

I think it will just depend on what he wants in terms of playing time. If he wants to start game in and game out he'll stay. He's going to be in the champions league and he can continue to develop w/out much pressure.

If he decides to move no one will blame him. It's a dream opportunity, I just don't want him to move and then his development be stunted because he doesn't perform ASAP and then drops in the pecking order. A transfer fee that high will put pressure on any player and at RM as a forward he'll have a load of pressure to perform as soon as he's there.

Lots of people coming out and confirming that City will match Madrid's offer for M'Bappe. #PepEffect?

ETA: I hope this happens just to watch the fricking melt

Kennedy can't sell jerseys in china so I doubt Madrid would go for that deal.
