Blistering performance from the lads today.
Totally outclassed Liverpool at every aspect of the game.

How good is Vertonghen 1v1 defending?? After his midweek performance vs Real, and then today.

West Ham mid week in the cup, then Man U next Saturday. Let’s keep it rolling.

This team is awesome to watch. Young talent, manager pushing all the right buttons, killing it in the transfer market, one of the top strikers in the world in top form.

Count your blessings, lads.

The greatest football club on Earth plays today.

We have West Ham in the Carabao Cup.

I usually back Poch no matter what (In Poch We Trust ), but I really don't like how he dismisses the League Cup as being beneath us because we are a "big club."

I think focusing on the Carabao Cup and winning it would do wonders for the future.
...I also realize that our fixture list in the next week is psychotic.

What makes you think he thinks we are "above" the cup?

He and the players have been very explicit in their stated desires to to win any cup/trophy possible.

ESPNFC
But Pochettino, who has said Spurs are too big a club to focus on winning the domestic cups, does not think anything would change if they win the Carabao Cup or FA Cup this season, even if he would like to do so.

ETA: I may have mis-paraphrased it a bit earlier, but I would still like to personally see some impetus put on the domestic cups.

guess we'll just stick to the treble this year then!
Prem, CL, and FA.

This game was a one-off occurrence. Shrug it off.

Man United saturday, lets roll.

Same.
Wish Toby would've gotten a rest today though.

Basically used it as a rehab game for everyone coming back from injury and we ran out of gas. I think he could've used his subs better and got the win, but it's whatever.

Saw that. Guess we'll just have to settle for only a 2-1 win now.

Tough loss. One brain fart from Dier. To be fair though, we were never going to score.

Just finished watching.

Yeah, we didn't deserve to win that one. Just sucks that United won off of a route 1 goal like that.
Hurts.
