If our passing was sharper, we could have had a few guys in on goal...

That Mata bicycle would have been on Lovren IMO... not played well... Lukaku is a unit and tough to defend, but you gotta find a way if you’re in the 11
I’d say sub in Matip, but he’s a very soft 6’4”

And that second goal seemed to me like TAA abandoned Rashford completely and couldn’t find him again inside the box. Lovren May have been out of position, but VVD stepped in as he should. I think it is unrealistic to blame Dejan for either goal.
You’re correct, though... that bike was Lovren all day.

TAA collapsed inside on the second goal to help out cause Mata was running free. Can’t put that on him

I agree here. Lovren is an easy scapegoat. Rashford is ripping TAA to shreds.
Edit: Yes, Lovren was responsible for the open bicycle kick.

I don’t blame him 100% for the goals... I just said he hasn’t played well... if he can’t handle Lukaku, he does us no good being on the pitch

So does Mourinho come out of the lockerroom parking his buses?
Or will he play on since they’ve been so dominant?

Fair enough.
Our midfield has been largely non-existent as well. Zero connection with the top 3

I’m not blaming him solely for us losing... just saying he hasn’t played well
He’s done okay with not much to do recently, but put him under pressure and the same old shite player comes out...
That’s it, I’ll leave it alone...

Midfield is shite.
Can can frick off to Juve if he can’t show up for a big game.
They’re light in the midfield and 2 of them are bossing our 3.
Salah is getting owned by Ashley Young.

How is this pathetic excuse of a team beating us?
Posted on 3/10/18 at 7:40 am to TFTC
The fact is I can’t point out a single player who played “well” in the first half, so its not just Lovren and TAA.
VVD has been solid I guess.

Mane’s final ball and first touch have been sketchy all year
Posted on 3/10/18 at 7:41 am to pvilleguru
Effort and organization.
Plus they’re playing very physical and instead of responding, our players are shrinking away.

Oh my god, every time Mane and Ox received a pass, it sermed to bounce off their foot 3 yards away.

Some luck too taking their chances.
VvD should have buried a corner earlier.

Mane can’t complete a pass to save his life
Posted on 3/10/18 at 7:44 am to Riseupfromtherubble
He’s been super wasteful today but he and firmino look like the only two up for it.
Bring lallana on.

I think Mane has played well... minus his final ball...

Well, with Auburn basketball yesterday and Liverpool so far today, my weekend has been a joy so far.
