Well that's what hasn't been established. He's a top level club player, but beyond that who knows? He'll likely kick for the football team, run track, be on the sailing team, and play soccer in jr/high school (7th-12th grade) at Stanislaus...so outside of some regional squad I'm not sure there is much end game. It's got to get in motion now, because he starts boys school next year. Hopefully someone from Southern will be at ODP tryouts, I'll ask around.

You will have to figure it out soon, bc if he's dabbling in multi sports after 14 playing pro soccer has pretty much sailed. He will be light years behind anyone he is competing with and HS esp is the end road. Due to lack of practice time, while some kids his same age even in America now are being considered professionals at 14/15.

Well he's never received the coaching that good clubs build on, so he's already behind at 12. He's the tallest, fastest kid, great accuracy with passes, and can absolutely crush the ball compared to his peers...but what does it matter? Be kicker in football and run track...be the center mid on the soccer team and just have fun with it all.

If he could make a regional team I think he'd give up everything but kicking the football. He's been practicing since he was 9, and he's just too good at it not to kick for his school. Hell, he'd play regionally and just show up to some games for high school until the run for State.

But, he doesn't move off of the ball well. He doesn't attack like you'd think he would, and really he's never been on team that played possession. So, he's a striker playing midfield and he's just relegated himself to making the pass that cracks it open for other kids (he scores, but he doesn't see himself at the end of the possession like he should). Which is great, but there'll be kid's regionally that play possession better.

If he somehow got on a team that had a better center midfielder than he is his life/game would be much better for it, but he even played center mid on the year older club team...so that's wishful thinking.

I'll update after Sunday...and contact Southern to see how often they practice down here.

ETA: Southern must not be stealing kids from HFC just yet, because their results are terrible compared.
