BTW, you are consistently receiving a down vote and it may appear to be coming from me because you are responding to me but I would like to tell you that it is in fact not coming from me.

I don't give a shite about downvotes

most the time its from people who can't formulate a response b.c deep down they know I'm right

We agree with some but not all of the key points. I don't think Bradley and Altidore are here to collect pay checks and not take it seriously like Shea. Shea is an exception, not the rule. That's why this makes us so incredulous.
But the way Shea talks about the MLS in general is the key and how it is not approached as a job. Like the way he says it makes it seem lie team BBQs and gatherings is the norm and the league is every lax. Bradley and Altidore might not openly be mailing it in but if they are playing in an environment that Shea describes they are gonna get worse, which they have. Its the MLS culture that Shea alludes along with the overpaying and it won't breed success.

As long as the US' best athletes are playing other sports, the USMNT will NEVER prevail in international soccer

Shea just straight up comes out and says it but the others don't have to. It is very clear by their play with the national team that they have a smilier approach about the MLS. But a player coming out and admitting that a league they play in doesn't take a lot of effort to play in is a big deal imo.

Shea didnt give a shite when he was in England. You are putting way to much credence on the words of Brek Shea. He is not your typical player.

And you are wrong about members of the usmnt not caring about the league they play in. Just like you are wrong about mls not requiring a lot of effort. In fact, people like Pirlo and Drogba say mls is very hard to play in and requires lots of effort. It's lacking technical ability. In terms of effort, running, physicality it is very demanding.

Basically your whole post is wrong.

Lol no you're way off there. Pirlo and Drogba are talking about on field effort and its hard for them because they are old. I am talking about off the field effort to get better which is not even remotely the same thing.

Can't blame Shea for wanting to have some fun and experience something more than a subdued, workmanlike club setting. Says nothing about his work ethic, just his lifestyle preference.
