Wow, should have been 4-2.

Exactly. What more could you possibly want other than a PK? PK + one game banning = justice served.

it's too bad he won't have better moments in his career to overshadow it like maradona...

If Suarez is affected by the boos, he is a pussy. It didn't look like he was affected though, he had some real nice touches and a good turn or two.

To be fair, it happens quite often, see Adebayor vs Arsenal. But I'm sure Lou Suarez loved the hate.

i know. i just wish he would've scored to shut them up. or had another hugely important handball, but just b/c that would've been funny to me. i'm evil that way.

I felt sorry for him to the extent that literally every player on the field would have done that to help his team to win. It's just sour grapes on the part of the biased crowd. Suarez wasn't the one who missed the penalty.

Dude... he's 23. Last year with Ajax he had 35 goals in 34 league appearances. Dude is about to get PAID, and will be fixture for a strong European club team for years to come. He will also be a fixture on the Uruguayan national for years to come as well. He's going to be a good one. Maybe not Pele/Maradona-esq, but who the frick is?

No they didn't have a goal. The ball never crossed the line. Do they award baskets in the NBA when you get fouled and it doesn't go in....NO.
You get foul shots, like he got a pk. He missed. Tough shite. Suarez got booked. He missed there semi-final game. ALL RULES WERE FOLLOWED = NO CHEATING. He committed a penalty, the remedy the rules call for was followed. End of story.
Now granted I never watch basketball so I could be wrong, but isn't there a rule about goaltending, and the team is awarded the points automatically? Wouldn't this essentially be the equivalent of goaltending?
