My video quality is terrible. What did he do elbow the guy then touch his head with his foot while he was rolling around? I'm assuming it was for whatever happened before the touch to the face because that was weak.

Wait, did they red card that guy who GOT smacked in the face by the blue defender/goalie as well?
Also that first guy obviously deserved the red but I still hate the blue guy for flopping around like a fish and rolling 30 times (before and after the kick)

Like I said, I can't really see the first foul but the Blue douche was definitely making a meal of it. If the first foul wasn't bad (which I can't tell) then he deserved to get "kicked" a lot harder. Watching it again the first foul obviously wasn't that bad as he's sitting up perfectly fine like 30 seconds later.

The first foul was bad enough for the ref to emphatically draw the red card. From what it looked like to me, he elbowed him in the face. I mean I hate the rolling around BS too, but if he did elbow him in the face then I could see that hurting a bit

If you go to the 1:15 mark it's a little more clear. It was an elbow to the face. FWIW, the guy got a nice gash on his face. Not sure if it was from the elbow or the stamp. Ol' Gerardo is lucky he didn't get the perma ban. That was cheap.

I don't think anyone will argue it was dirty/cheap but it seems like a half season ban is very sufficient.

No doubt, but it's still a red card and probably did hurt, players are just inclined to "sell" things like that more
