Thoughts: Lads, if you’ve never been pegged with a transfer bung accusation, are you really supporting a real football club?

Spelled Wolves wrong. He’d be a great squad player for us.

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think Kevin has dreamed slamming home a ball from Matt Doherty.

Would be funny if they tacked that on and 50% of the first team forced a move.

I’d be down for some proper brexit football and the world would get what they’ve always wanted; Pep managing a mediocre squad

Would you rather a Champions leauge ban or Transfed embargo? On a side note looks like City got caught with their pants down and FIFA wants to make and example... They wont go after the "Blue" Blood clubs just like the NCAA wont go after Duke and Kansas... and this is coming from a United Supporter lol City will have to be sacrificial lamb

I mean the thing that irks me is that we already got penalized for this and paid a massive fine and lost UCL roster spots and it’s only gotten to this point now because of documents and information obtained illegally in the football leaks saga.

Mansour isn’t in danger of going broke and neither is the club. We are one of the best run clubs, top to bottom in Europe at the moment and this is only happening because of pressure from the ‘blue blood’ clubs that aren’t as well off financially.

We aren’t in danger of a transfer ban, but I would have rather dealt with that than a European ban solely because our players wouldn’t force a move out if we had a transfer ban. If this goes through you’ll likely see a pretty big exodus from the club. I’d expect KDB, Aguero, Mahrez, Bernardo and Laporte to all leave. Maybe Sterling as well.

I’m most interested to see if our front office has been lying about their confidence regarding this whole thing. They have supposedly been telling players that the club’s defense is bullet proof and unless UEFA just decides to blatantly be corrupt in court then they expect to win.

I’m not nearly that confident.

From what ive been reading the Front Office is going in to this like its a forgone conclusion that they will get nothing from this. That right there could blow up in there face as even in the press they are saying that.. CAS wont take kindly to that imo

Cheaters city will get off, though I wouldn't put it past uefa to be corrupted

But if punishment is upheld, or more likely reduced, it won't be because of pressure from the "blue bloods"

Let’s be honest here, FFP should not stop clubs like City and PSG from spending. The argument about countries bankrolling a team is one I agree with, but that was never something FFP was supposed to stop.

Will be hilarious if it’s upheld after all the positive news spread through City sources.
