He runs forward quite well, but not quite so well going the other way.
In simplistic terms.

He won't play ahead of Walker but if Naughton is bought by Swansea like the rumors say then he would be #2 RB I would assume. I think I would still rather him get first team minutes in Seattle

shite!
Shut your piehole! Not sure Yedlin would be able to displace Walker, especially right now so for this to be a good move for him he'd have to be loaned out to where he get actual playing time.

i don't really rate Walker (at least compared to most on here, it seems) but it seems like they're practically the same style of player and yedlin might not be good enough to displace him. (though possible, he'd have a big, uphill battle).
I would agree with this. They seem pretty similar in style in my mind as well. Although, Yedlin seems to act more grown up (given the limited viewings I have had of him).

no! i never have!
he's a very solid attacking full back who is average defensively on his best days and has quite often made errors resulting in opposing goals.
like a lot of english players recently, he had a pretty good season, especially for a youngster, got super hyped, and subsequently never really lived up to that hype. he's someone that yedlin could potentially beat out in a couple of years after some further development IMO (though yes, walker can develop some too) but the experience he needs isn't sitting on the bench.

Any young, high potential, defensive players are on tottenham's radar at the moment. I can't see us hanging on to rose and naughton, do he'd get some playing time with first team, but I'd prefer a loan out. Preferably to a low to mid tier Italian club.
And someone mentioned earlier about the bale route, I'm sure he would get some looks on the wings no matter where he ends up.

Spurs are shite. This would be a terrible move for Yedlin, not because Spurs are shite, but because he would rarely play. Oh, and he'd be surrounded by shite.

Kind of a rollercoaster of a statement, but I found myself nodding in agreement.
