it's a fricking joke that the Londoner doesn't have sallelite...i went to watch El Classico a couple weeks ago and had to leave b/c they couldn't pick up GOL tv. the bartender was pissed b/c she had been telling people who had been calling that they would be able to watch the match...if you're going to present yourself as an English pub & want the business from soccer nerds then you need to step up and provide the service...:offmysoapbox:

Nope. I have Gol TV now and DON'T have the Spanish channels. Either it's actually part of the sports tier or I'm lucking out with getting that one station in the midst of all of the Spanish channels.

ETA: Looks like I may just be lucking out. Gol TV is listed in Cox's Latino Pak which I don't get. But I do get Gol TV for some reason.

Yep. It's only like $4 a month. Still haven't been to the Londoner but from what I've heard it doesn't sound like they know how to run a soccer bar.

It's definitely on the Spanish tier on cox in br it's channel 288, no hd available. I know because I cancelled the Spanish package last month

I watched one of the US games on Gol TV there I thought.

I will be there as long as they are going to show more than just the ManU/Citeh games. On their FB they asked a ? about just showing those two games or showing a bunch of them. Hopefully a bunch of them is what the answer is.

Strange. I just flipped to it and it seems that I'm getting it now too. Either they switched from Spanish to sports, which would make sense or it's a big oversight.

the potenial is there but i just can't understand why they don't get rid of Cox...with Direct tv they could get FSC, Gol, FSP and one or two Spanish channels...

Good. Maybe they'll add it in HD soon.

That's one reason that I don't watch much Bundesliga. Gol's SD signal is so shitty, I can't even see the numbers.

I thought Gol was in dire financial straits?

Agreed. It really is terrible, I was at the point where I pretty much only watch bundesliga when I can see it in hd on espn3

I'm pretty sure this is the case. There's been some speculation that al jazeera could buy gol tv and re brand it given all the new rights they have acquired. I just hope ray Hudson still has a job next year.
