This is a long shot but can anybody recommend a bar to watch this game at in Athens?

I'm actually wondering the same thing... But I'm staying in Atlanta, so I may head over after the game. If I leave Atlanta at 10, I should be in Athens with plenty of time to spare, correct?

Well it's a little over an hour to Athens and I don't know what traffic is like up there on gameday. I think you should have time.

Quick google search lead me to a place called Royal Peasant English Club

Or, drop on by anytime for a warm seat at the bar. Share a pint with friends and colleagues after work or kick back in front of the High-Def 'telly' to see the best teams battle it out in football - that's association football, of course, otherwise known as soccer to those not in-the-know.

That place will have it if they open at 11:00 in Athens. Arsenal starts at 12:30 EST.

ah, that's right, UGA is EST. Might just DVR it and try to avoid spoilers until sunday night.

Don't go back to Atlanta to watch games. I am sure there is somewhere in Athens.
