He's still not fit to lick the boots of these two.

He's a lot better than Robert Green though

Agreed, but he's pretty stinking good for Da Lions. Second tier of the elite goalies in the world.

This was not an elitist post whatsoever, it's replying to something I saw earlier about someone asserting he's the absolute best, and at worst, top three.
Germany's Neuer is better, as is Cech.

In no particular order...
Casillas
Cech
Neuer
Buffon
Valdes
...are all probably better than him. I've always put him around the same level as Timmy Howard.
EDIT: Oh, I know that wasn't elitist. I mean, you even included an Eye-talian!

I don't like him, and used to enjoy horselaughing his gaffes, but he is a damned good keeper, and deservedly meritorious of being considered of this level.
His problem is that he has some ill timed relapses (then again, Casillas does as well, and let's not start about Cech, or we could talk all night long).
Reina is the best of Tier Two (ahead of Hart).
Hart is a damned good keeper though.

Always forget to give him the credit he's due, since he's at 'Pool.

His athletic ability is astounding too. If he didn't make it as a keeper, he would still be playing top-level football as an outfield player.

FIFY. He had an abysmal year. Hart passed him.

WSE, y'all have a potential GOAT in DeGea, mark my words.

I like him a lot already, just don't know how he'll end up. Extremely young for a starting GK.

Yeah, but the red faced one is a perfect mentor for someone of such potential.

Reina has had a lot of surprisingly sketchy moments lately, I'd definitely put Hart above him at the moment.
Hart is in the argument for top 3-5, although I find it more difficult to rate top keepers more than pretty much any position. Valdes, for example, goes long stretches without having to make a legit save.

yet, habitually, he makes them. Hence, my change of opinion as concerns him.
