Small Sided Pickup Games - Goalie or No Goalie?

One thing that grinds my gears is playing a small sided pickup game and some idiot just camps out in front of the goal that's barely wider than his body, basically playing goalie with no hands. It almost always seems to be someone not of American decent for some reason. It's annoying as hell because it makes it nearly impossible to score and defeats the whole purpose of the game.
Does anyone else have this problem?

It's infuriating. It takes both teams telling the guy to move to finally get a result sometimes. If it's just the opposing team he's not going anywhere.

As long as the rules are very clear that you can't hit long shots, the idiot should figure it out. His own team needs to be on him for sure.

It's so frustrating! Usually, I try to tell the guy to stop doing it and that there are "no goalies", but it almost always seems to fall on deaf ears. Sometimes the guy may not speak English, so that doesn't help. Sometimes I'm playing with people from work so it may be awkward for me to be telling someone to stop being a jackass.

I have physically pushed people out of the way of the goal when they didn't take the hint. And by hint I mean everyone on the field telling them to move.

Your title made me think you were an idiot because it made it sound like you did not know whether or not to use a goal. even though I suck at soccer and play like twice a year, I would never stoop that low.
