bunch of non-euro countries in uefa - turkey, israel, armenia, georgia, azerbaijan, kazakhstan. israel's in uefa because afc kicked expelled them after the arab countries refused to play them.

Plenty of Asian nations play in Europe. Turkey, Armenia, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, and Russia.

It's just like Guyana playing in CONCACAF When it's clearly in South America.

Magomed Ozdoyev is Ingush, and Alan Dzagoev is Ossetian. Everyone else is clearly European.

"Some" of the country isnt in Asia. The majority of its land-mass is. To be fair, I'd guess a majority of its population is in Europe, though. Toss-up.

Even in Siberia population is primarily Russian. But you are correct in that most of the population lies in the European region.
