It makes a huge difference, Atom. I chose Silva with the 4th pick. I never would have chosen him if his goals were worth the same as a striker's. Tony V with my second pick, also.

I don't care either way, I do still think defenders get the shaft in that set of rules a bit, but not a big deal.

If the league table for both leagues is the same (3 pts win, 1 pt draw) then the top 10 squads regardless of league should promote to top league next year. Our league could have 6 promoted and other league only 4.
If tables are run the same then the scoring to determine h2h in each league can be different.

We then discussed in the thread about using the EPL scoring system. Atom approved the use of the EPL scoring because it makes it easier to keep up with each week. Plus, we know the scoring system works well.
I have no idea why the leagues have to be the same. Relegation and shite is not that important to me if we are going to use a different system than was discussed.
