I thought about picking Allen a few rounds ago.
But I didn't want both Sahin & Allen (if Sahin ends up at LFC)
ETA: this way I win either way.. Sahin to LFC = more play time & a better fantasy pickup.. Sahin to Arsenal = Sahin to arsenal

Thanks Atom. I structured my whole draft on a lie. From what I recall of WSE's scoring system it was stupid as hell. A defender's goal counting the same as a forward? Dumb as frick.

5.0- SCORING
5.1- Goalkeepers
· Goal: 10 Points
· Assist: 1 Point
· Saves: 1 Point for Every 2 Saves
· Goals Against: -1 Point Each
· Win: 3 Points
· Draw: 1 Point
· Clean Sheet: 3 Points
5.2- Defenders
· Goal: 3 Points
· Assist: 1 Point
· Clean Sheet: 3 Points
· Goals Against: -1 Point For Every 2 Goals Allowed
5.3- Midfielders (1 point clean sheet bonus) and Forwards
· Goal: 2 Points
· Assist: 1 Point
5.4- Man of the Match Bonus (Awarded by the FA): 5 Points
5.5- Bookings
· Yellow Card: -1 Point
· Yellow-Yellow Red Card: -2 Points
· Straight Red Card: -3 Points

Yeah, frick that. Our league is better. WSE's scoring is totally arbitrary. The EPL one was done by "professionals". We know that the EPL scoring system works and does not have a huge bias to the best position, just the best players.
The scoring system will not only save you hours, but it is simply better. I structured my picks along the scoring system of the EPL.
Honestly, I may drop out if we go with WSE's scoring after we decided to go by the superior EPL in the first.
The leagues do not have to be identical.

I agree with Vick. I never would have participated as I have with their scoring system.

There should be a 90 minute played 1 point for defenders I think..
either that or it works like the NFL where a clean sheet = 3 points, 1 goal against = 1 point 2 goals 0 points 3 goals -1 etc.
ETA: or just use EPL's.
I don't know why they need to be identical, the 5 best owners will be the 5 best owners either way.
