C'mon. As bad as the USMNT have been playing under Jurgen, there's no way you should fire a manager of a team who is currently in a WCQ qualifying spot after an uninspired performance in a friendly. That would be one of the dumbest...

Mock me all you want but when we don't qualify for Brazil don't say I didn't warn you.

Still, it's a friendly in freaking Cleveland. Let's save our pitchforks for matches that matter, bruh.

No offense, but I don't think anyone is going to think of you if that happens.

I'd rather avoid this inevitability entirely.

Again go ahead and mock me all you want. You can't feel good about what's been going on with this team. I am not confident at all that we finish in the top 3 the way this is going and with a bad bounce here or there we might not finish in that playoff spot either.

And explain to me why it's ok for a club team to cut the cord mid-season but this is somehow an unthinkable suggestion?

Should Klinsmann work on tactics and fundamentals, yes. But some of these players didn't even look like they've been taught fundamentals and they are professionals. Thats the scary part.

ETA: Fundamentals are good, but not the sole responsibility of the natl manager

If he has lost the locker room. We will see, soon.

I don't feel good about this team, and neither does anyone else. You're not alone in your suffering.

Eh...it's still a tight race. We were missing a few key players tonight, and they would have made somewhat of a difference. Against Belgium, it might not have made much of a difference. Against a team like Panama or Jamaica, it's the difference between a bad result and a W. We should finish top three, even with the way this is going.

As bad as it is, it should be just enough to get in, IMO. We can moan about the lack of talent, but we've still got more than CONCACAF sides not named Mexico.

Maybe it'll look better in a game that means something.

it´s too late for this.

tactics

I would hope and pray, he´s trying to get a visión of player´s actions and reactions, in order to form one.

this is quite possible, but I think EVERYONE is still lost at this point. I really do. I think there awaits a simmer down and assimilation point.

And the way he has treated his players in public I'm half expecting him to come out tomorrow and say that he banged Clint Dempsey's sister. And yeah maybe Donovan is a prima donna but come on you don't show a guy up who has done as much as LD has like that.

Let me preface this with saying that I'm not on the fire bandwagon. But there have been many matches that matter that we've seen this team play the EXACT same way they played tonight. Its getting tiring.
