Parkhurst really failed to impress against Guatemala and Belize. Do you think beltran did enough to be the guy for the rest of the tourney or will we see them alternate the rest of the way?

Parkhurst is pretty shitty. I'm not sure what we'll do but Parkhurst is not a very good player.

I think beltran at least starts the next one. Hopefully he makes the decision easy for Jurgen.

Beltran was pretty underwhelming too, IMO. Didn't do anything wrong defensively, he just never really found his way into the attack.

He did show some neat foot skills early in the game though.

Yea neither guy has really impressed. I say give Beltran another game to see what he has to offer.

Oh I totally agree. I was in no way impressed with beltran, on his home mls field no less. I'm basically hoping he's better than parkhurst because parkhurst was not good

I think it's been said before that he plays there with his club. I guess we could give it a shot

All we really have to have is competent defending - another Brad Evans type performance would be sufficient. Parkhurst has given no indication of that. Beltran probably can, but also seems to occasionally be a gambler.

Fiscal played RB with Philly a bit and also in MX, according to this article.

Beltran looked pretty shitty the other day. First time I've seen him play, and I actually remarked outloud that he looked like our worst player on the pitch.

ETA: forgot about brek. He was by far the worst. But obviously not a similar position.

Didn't Orozco play LB for the Olympic team? Pretty sure he was playing that position when he was sent off against Nigeria. Seems he's a rather versatile player if he can play across the back line.

As for RB, none of our options have impressed me there. Maybe playing Orozco there isn't a terrible idea.
